Happy Birthday, Mr. B

I was going to write some really fabulous account of how proud I am of your achievements. Instead, I let you sleep through all the babies' cries.

    The greatest present every in the history of the world: a full night's sleep when you have a newborn! My husband and I used to sleep in four-hour shifts, one of us futilely trying to cajole the little monster into going to bed each night, the other one magically able to fall asleep anywhere, in any position, the second we found out it was our turn. So a full night? A great act of love!
